It’s How We Live Life

How we live life is something we learn.  We gather clues along the way and base our opinions on what we hear, see and allow to come into our minds.

Our history and story inspire us.  It takes us to new horizons and new experiences.

If you want to make new roads, chart new waters and do what you love, it helps to be completely and utterly obsessed with taking care of your personal sanctuary (your mind, soul and spirit), your world, your personal growth.  I have been a faithful student working on being the best version of myself – listening to what drives and inspires me.  This has meant going against the norm (in some cases), reinventing myself and allowing the goodness of God in the world to show me the way.

By knowing more about your history and taking time to listen to your own story we can achieve further personal growth.  I feel truly lucky to have a priceless piece of my history with me in my grandfather’s journals.  My grandfather left me the greatest gift possible – a peek inside his mind.  His journals and writings have brought back to life that vision of the person I got to know.  What beautiful memories and lessons I have in those.

This blog was inspired by my late grandfather’s journal and writings.

It is my hope that in sharing my journey, my experiences will serve as a resource for others.  Life is not perfect and it’s not suppose to be.  Life is all the imperfect moments that will serve as lessons.  It’s the times we mess up, the times we cried, laughed, loved without regrets and those times we just didn’t know how to handle things.  Each one of these moments continue to build us in some way.  I promise myself that in each of those moments, I will be fully present to allow time to savor each one of those feelings and experiences.

So, friends, let’s go out there and make each adventure count.

Dolce living,

Yaneth
